My Own Book
In ‘My Own Book’ children’s book writer Nanda Roep teams up with kids to make their own book. During a brainstorming session Nanda asks the children questions, which are then used to help the kids to write their own unique story.
As the stories unfold, the viewer gets a unique peak into the world of the children’s fantasies and the way in which they perceive the world around them. The children also create illustrations for their own book.
The children are five years old; old enough to visualize and create on their own, but too young to write themselves.
